[This was the first time in decades that a Manji Warrior visits the Black Shroud. The Manji Tribe isn't well known beyond Yanxia but Yoshimitsu's people often traveled to the Black Shroud in decades past. They would cross the Ruby Sea to Kugane and sell their wares there before eventually setting their sights upon Eorzea. That is until the Garleans made travel between the Black Shroud and Gyr Abania almost impossible with their gigantic wall. Baelsar's Wall serves as a legacy of Gaius van Baelsar's tyranny even long after his alleged death. However, once news reached the hilly slopes of Yanxia that smoke rises from the wall, Yoshimitsu volunteered to investigate.
The masked shinobi clung to the shadows as he quickly transversed through the wall. He saw remnants of the battle laid strewn in the form of rubble and blood. The aftermath was a gruesome sight to behold but Yoshimitsu didn't blink an eye. He's grown too used to bloodshed over the long years but Yoshimitsu hasn't lost his humanity. He made his way through Baeslar's Wall muttering a prayer for all those who perished before venturing onward.
It was daybreak by the time he reached the other side. The shinobi raced down the metallic staircase and let out a breath of relief once he felt grass again. It was too early for the Wood Wailers to be on patrol. That's a good thing considering how unfriendly the Gridanians can be. Yoshimitsu glances over at the wall again briefly before continuing with his mission.]
